About Dr Michael
I am a retired softy (last job banking software) have a first class degree Physics/Maths PhD in Astrophysics published 4 papers (one in Nature Kiraly et al 1975 vol 255 p 619-20) and as a result of the two-way process of teaching (encouraging the right questions) there's nothing to stop anyone from publishing novel aspects of understanding or data analysis ,resulting from 1-1 consultation or formation a small team of like-minded people which could achieve great things.
Currently I am trying to integrate a dynamo model with temp models of the Sun, and numerically experiment with deviatons from sphericity,namely oblate spheroidal coords ( used for galaxies).
If all this sounds complicated the do not worry since Boltzmann's equa E=kT relating thermodynamics tquantum mechanics E=hf h Planck's constant ,f or nu frequency of particle is a flying start!

Whilst doing My PhD thesis I gained 2 years experience of providing physics theory solutions to a small group of students each week. my approach is to scale this down to be more individually orientated either online ( zoom) or for locals in my spare tutoring room equipped with a small telescope + computers for when needed.
I am hoping that a series of 6 1/2hr lessons will firstly explain to a sufficient degree stellar evolution & nucleosynthesis progressing to supernovae,neutron stars & black holes. Then the fun starts with the studentbeing empowered to produce an software model/app of temperature distribution in the Sun, or gaLactic collisions-Andromedra is approaching ! These are optional lessons 7 -10 requireing someknowledge of a computer language such as BASIIC,FORTRAN,c OR c++ .
