About Maureen

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have taught literally thousands of people in over 55 years of teaching experience. These people are from all walks of life and all ages. My own career started by training with two or three of the countries top elocution and public speaking teachers and gaining teaching qualifications through the New Era Academy and the London Academy of Music and Drama. In the course of my career I have dealt successfully with a wide range of vocal issues that in one way or the other are the cause of a lack of confidence in many people. I have a deep passion for my work, and a life long belief in people and their right to speak confidently and express themselves in their daily life and business. My approach is friendly, effective and always fun, and I try to make the art of learning to speak confidently a joyful process. My approach has proved very popular with children and adults, professionals and those simply seeking help in their personal life.

I trained with New Era Academy and London Academy of Music and Drama.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

My current students include businesses and charities as well as people seeking help for speaking in their private lives. I teach children and adults. Some of my students are seeking help with professional development and others are seeking help for personal reasons.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

My qualifications (ALAM, ANEA, NLP) bring a lifetime's experience of voice training, having trained through the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the New Era Academy,

- How much do you charge?

My fees are £50.00. per hour for adults face to face and a reduced fee for online tuition. Children up to the age of 14 years £25.00. per half hour online only.

- Where do you teach?

I work in Newport, Shropshire.. I also teach people world wide online.

- When are you available?

Tuesday to Thursday

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

From 8 years upwards.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I teach students online via Skype.

6 weeks ago even the thought of making my wedding speech was preventing me from getting excited about my own wedding. Now after the help from Vocal Integrity I feel as though I have conquered a phobia that I have had for almost 20 years and I am not in a position where I am positively looking forward to my wedding and making my speech. Thank you very much. -
