About Anna-Sophie
I grew up in Austria and Italy before moving to the UK for my studies, hence I have always been surrounded by different languages, and had to learn them myself as well. Studying in Spain for my MBA allowed me to pick up Spanish, and my professional experience across various countries required daily multilingual communication too. I hold an MBA from IE Business School, which reinforces my dedication to professionalism and effective communication.

As a native German speaker from Austria with family roots in Germany, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. Having learnt three languages myself, I emphasise interactive, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs. I focus on learning in context, associating words with scenarios and imagery rather than solely focusing on vocabulary memorisation from a book. Speaking from day one, even through simple conversations, builds confidence and fluency. Grammar is integrated naturally into themed discussions, making concepts easier to grasp. Lessons typically last 60 minutes but can be adjusted. I specialise in tutoring beginners and those with basic vocabulary. My experience includes tutoring at university and helping my partner, a native English speaker, learn German. Though I lack formal teaching qualifications, my passion and personal experience create a supportive environment where students improve their skills while enjoying the learning process.
