About Cathy
I am a McGill University student in the Med-P program who enjoys interacting and teaching younger children. I am familiar with working with kids, considering that I have tutored at school in the past, done volunteer work in a day camp and participated in my school's Open House for three years (which involved many meetings with prospective young students).

I employ a *student-centered* learning method. Hence, I allow the students to participate in the learning process by placing them at the center and giving them an active role to assume. A typical lesson plan consists of reviewing past mistakes in homework and exams, as well as finding the problem and fixing it. My goal is to make the student understand & learn from their errors. To assess their comprehension, I will create realistic practice tests, flashcards and fun Q&A interaction activities. What sets me apart from other tutors is my ability to personalize each of my classes. My teaching plans are inspired by the student's own interests and skills.
