Your singing habits are shaped by the way you've used your voice since childhood, making vocal training a unique journey for each individual. In 1:1 personalized lessons, I assess your natural vocal tendencies and provide tailored solutions and exercises to enhance your technique. We analyze vocal techniques based on your favorite artists and preferred genres and develop professional singing skills through repertoire study. For those following a structured curriculum, I emphasize technical exercises, sight reading, articulation, and aural training, helping students develop precision and confidence in their playing. If the goal is to accompany singing or play contemporary music, lessons focus more on chord theory, inversions, and smooth voice leading, while still reinforcing essential technical skills like scales and arpeggios. Regardless of the approach, ear training and sight reading are incorporated into every lesson to strengthen musical intuition. I encourage students to explore different styles while developing a solid foundation in technique and theory. The best time to start piano is when a child can recognize letters and begin reading words, making it easier to grasp musical notation.
