About DeVantè
I am an aspiring engineer who has been tutoring for 3 years.
My focus is teaching STEM, more specifically Maths (GCSE and A-level) and Physics (GCSE)
I achieved an A* in both Maths and Physics GCSE. At A-level I qualified with an A* in Maths and A in Further Mathematics.
My current studies in my engineering degree have allowed me to use what I know of these subjects and helped project the way in which I teach them.

I use our first lessons to gauge different methods of learning and what works best for my tutee (visual, auditory, kinaesthetic & Reading/writing). We then run through topics in alignment with the school syllabus and depending on the understanding of the session will proceed further to get ahead and to a higher level.
I prioritise understanding of the way concepts work as this provides the best means for progression, as opposed to large amount of work.
