About Jakub

As a kid in year 10 I had an exceptionally inspiring Maths teacher, who always made lessons most interesting and did something I never thought was possible - made Mathematics lessons something to look forward to, something to be enjoyed. It was the satisfaction of having solved a problem that just a few days prior was unreachable which made you crave that experience more. That led me into university and eventually graduating in Mechanical Engineering with honours. I want the people I help to crave the same satisfaction or at least excel in their exams! :)

About the lesson

Mathematics Supply Teacher during the day, tutor at night (or whenever I can) :). I have had the privilege of tutoring a number of students ranging from ages 9 to adults with various skills and of different backgrounds and nationalities. Depending on the skill level of the student and their objective, the lessons shall consist of mathematical concept explanation followed by extensive practice with a focus on solving standardised problems often from past exam papers, whether GCSE Maths or AS/A level. I have experienced and used all AQA, Edexcel and OCR, WJEC teaching resources. I do not offer group sessions but rather focus on a more personalised approach. I find that to be most beneficial for the student.
