About Ross
I recently graduated from Imperial College London where I studied Mechanical Engineering. I have a passion for getting more young people into STEM subjects, and have been tutoring maths, physics, and coding at various levels for the last 7 years. It's always so rewarding to see the hard work of student's pay off when they get into their first choice university, and I'm available to help with university application and preparation if required.

I don't believe in blindly memorizing formulas and rote learning. Instead, my teaching style focuses on deconstructing the question in front of us and learning methods to understand how to approach problems. I like to use real life examples to contextualize maths, and cement understanding of abstract ideas. Before a lesson, I will always prepare specific materials focusing on each students strengths and weaknesses. After each lesson, if appropriate I will leave students with some homework to complete in their own time.
