About Carson
I originally majored in mathematics education because I love teaching math. I have taught hundreds of students of all ages, ranging from elementary school to college. I was the Fall 2019 Tutor MVP at Pepperdine University, and I have students earning high A's when they typically received B's or C's in math. I bring 5 years of tutoring experience, and a strong knowledge of educational psychology, which is critical to encourage students struggling with math skills.

I give lessons to any students willing to learn and better their mathematical abilities. I believe all students have the capacity to understand math. My teaching method is to get the students to appreciate the topic by connecting it to something they are interested in. I also determine the student's baseline knowledge in order to solidify a foundation of confidence. This foundation allows me to gradually build the student's confidence and understanding.
