About Aarushi
I'm a 3rd year medical student studying in Townsville but am originally from Toowoomba. I graduated school in 2014 with an OP2 and did a year of Biomedical Science at USQ before getting into medicine.
I have had a little bit of prior experience back home where I helped school children, mainly refugee children, with their homework. I found this not only rewarding but also challenging and educational. At school I was part of the teaching and learning committee where we embedded an idea of helping the younger grades by pairing them with older students to help them with content, if need be. I am very interested in teaching my peers as I find it to be one of the most informative ways of learning.
