About Vicente
I'm from Chile (29M), passionate about Japanese culture since I was a kid. Learned in order to play Japanese games and novels in its source language (no more lost in translation!). Became able to fully read light novels with almost no dictionary, and speaking/listening came out naturally. Casual self-teaching over a period of about 6 years. Did a student exchange in Nagoya and a Working Holiday in Tokyo/Osaka, where I was employed in an IT Japanese company. Successfully broke the language barrier by playing games and watching anime, a bit at a time.

Self-taught Japanese speaker for over 6 years, have lived and worked in Japan. Close to N1 level.
Rather than textbooks, I think the best way to learn is to immerse into media (manga, games, shows, music, etc.) and adapt learning style to fit the student's hobbies and motivations.
