About Nicole
I am a Medical Biosciences student at Imperial College London. I have a strong background in STEM, and know what it takes to excel in exams to get accepted into top universities. As a previous tutor student, I experienced the help I needed to reach my potential and I want other students to be able to get the support they need to reach their own potential. I understand the importance of exam technique as well as learning the content. I am familiar with Edexcel and OCR exam boards for both GCSE and A-levels, I am familiar with the mark schemes and content for the exams. I hope to incorporate flipped-learning and traditional learning styles to focus on exam technique and comprehension skills. I want to create personalised plans, tailored to each individual student, so that the learning style is best suited for each person's needs. I think that my past experience with tutoring can help me pass on my knowledge and skills to future students. I have a deep passion for STEM subjects as a student at Imperial, and I want to share this with everyone. I have past tutoring experience and am currently based in London. I am very friendly and easygoing, let me know if you have any questions about me or my lessons! I want to help students achieve their goal, whether that is improving to their desired target grade, getting into their dream school, or developing skills, I hope to be with you for your journey!

Able to teach students up to A-levels. Lessons are 1-2 hours, but hours are flexible. Lessons include going over core content and developing exam techniques by going over past paper questions. I aim to tailor lessons to the student's needs and their method of learning.

I have known Nicole for 3 years, a friend of mine recommended her for my child as she studies Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London. Nicole tutored my child for Biology GCSE, and improved her grade from a 6 to an 8. She is an approachable tutor, and my child looked forward to her tutoring lessons every week. Nicole is also transparent and communicates about my child's progress consistently. She uses a variety of teaching methods to ensure that she finds the one that helps my child the most - from exam questions, to analysing the mark scheme, to quizzes and learning concepts. Her hours are also super flexible, and can do extra tutoring hours if my child needed it during exam season.
