About Sapphire
I am a UK-qualified medical doctor with nine years of NHS clinical experience and a qualified Secondary Science teacher. My passion for education led me to complete a PGCE in Secondary Science at the UCL Institute of Education, one of the world's leading institutions for teacher education, where I developed expertise in evidence-based pedagogy, curriculum design and assessment.
I specialise in Biology to A Level and Science across Key Stage 3, combining my medical knowledge with proven teaching strategies to help students develop deep understanding, confidence and outstanding examination results. Alongside subject tuition, I mentor aspiring doctors and dentists, supporting students through every stage of the admissions process, including UCAS applications, personal statements and interview preparation.
I believe every student can succeed when teaching is tailored to their individual learning style. Whether a student is aiming to improve their grades, build confidence, overcome learning barriers or secure a place at a competitive university, I provide a supportive, engaging and structured learning environment that enables them to reach their full academic potential.

Every lesson is carefully tailored to the individual student, combining evidence-based teaching strategies with clear explanations, active learning and regular assessment to maximise progress. As both a UK-qualified medical doctor with nine years of NHS clinical experience and a qualified Secondary Science teacher, I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and real-world experience to my teaching. I specialise in KS3 Science and A Level Biology, helping students achieve outstanding examination results while developing genuine understanding and confidence. I also mentor students aspiring to STEM careers, particularly Medicine and Dentistry in the UK, providing expert guidance with UCAS applications, personal statements and interview preparation. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged. I teach students from primary level through to A Level, adapting my approach to suit all abilities, including learners with SEND, ensuring every student is challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their full potential.
