About Adam

Hello students! My name is Adam and I'm a 5th year medical student at Edinburgh University. I also have a 1st class honours degree in Human Biology. I also volunteer for a children’s charity in hospital and work for the NHS.

I am an experienced tutor with eight years of experience, specialising in GCSE Sciences and Maths, as well as A-level Biology and Chemistry. I genuinely enjoy tutoring and have a track record of very high success rates, helping students build confidence and achieve strong academic outcomes.

Qualifications

I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Human Biology and am a final-year medical student, qualifying as a doctor in August 2026. This strong academic background allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Tutoring Approach & Results

My tutoring is exam-focused from day one. I begin with a thorough initial assessment and deliver structured lessons centred on exam technique, mark-scheme awareness, and confidence building. I use dynamic resources, including presentations, tailored written work, and homemade lesson recordings, to reinforce learning and support excellent exam outcomes.

SEN Experience

I have extensive experience supporting students with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and literacy difficulties. I take a calm, adaptable approach to ensure each student feels supported, confident, and able to progress at their own pace.
