About Ashutosh (Ash)
Hello! I’m Ash, an experienced science educator with a strong academic and professional background in biological and health sciences.
I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and a medical degree (M.D.), which have provided me with an extensive foundation in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology and other health sciences.
My teaching experience includes teaching Anatomy and Physiology at the college level in Canada, where I worked with students preparing for careers in healthcare. I have also worked in healthcare and clinical research, giving me practical experience that helps me connect scientific concepts with real-world and clinical applications.
I believe that a good teacher does more than provide information. My role is to help students understand difficult concepts, develop confidence, ask questions without hesitation, and gradually become independent learners.
I am patient, approachable and committed to adapting my teaching to each student’s individual needs and learning pace. Whether I am helping a high school student understand Biology or a healthcare student master Anatomy and Physiology, my goal is to make science clear, logical and meaningful.
I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop greater confidence in science.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing facts. I break complex topics into clear, manageable steps using diagrams, real-life examples, clinical connections, practice questions, and regular checks for understanding.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student’s learning goals and areas of difficulty. We then review the core concept step by step, work through examples and diagrams, and finish with practice questions to reinforce understanding and identify areas that need further attention.
My medical and science education, combined with my experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Canadian colleges, allows me to connect textbook concepts with practical and real-world applications. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, pace, and learning needs, and I encourage students to ask questions freely.
For Biology, I welcome Ontario high school students, particularly those studying Grade 11 and Grade 12 Biology (including SBI3U, SBI4U and SBI3C, SBI4C)
For Anatomy and Physiology, I support college and healthcare students who want to strengthen their understanding of the human body and prepare confidently for their courses, tests, and examinations.
My goal is simple: make difficult science concepts easier to understand, build confidence, and help students become independent learners.
