About Ria
As a Medical Science graduate, I am very well versed in the subjects of biology, chemistry, physics, math, and English. I am also a high school IB graudate, therfore I have first hand experience with the advanced and academic content taught from elementary to high school. My sole aim as a tutor is to make the student understand the material in a way that makes the work enjoyable for them. I am against the methods of memorization and regurgitation, as it doesn't stay with them for the long run. I am a very friendly, calm and positive person and I have 5+ years of experience working with students as an TA/ECE. I understand what its like for students to ask for academic help and how makes them feel therefore I am dedicated to making this class a safe space for them, free of judgements and nuances. They are free to ask questions, be who they are, take their time, and make their own schedules. I myself am a student as I go onto Medical School, and I intend to learn right along side the students as I tutor them.

As a tutor, I have extensive knowledge about the VARK learning methods. I can design specific lesson plans to ensure that students learn the information in a way that best suits them and stays with them. I am a Medical Science graduate; therefore, I am very well versed in the subjects of biology, chemistry, physics, English, and math. As a recent graduate, I have all the tips and tricks on how to best understand and teach the information. My lessons are designed for children aged 5–18. I have experience working as an ECE at a local middle school for 5+ years; therefore, fear not; you students are in good hands. Most importantly, it is my mission to get you to enjoy what you are learning rather than memorize and regurgitate it. If you can understand what you are doing, you will start to enjoy it, and when you enjoy it, my mission is accomplished.
