About Athena
Hi! My name's Athena and I am a first year medical student at a top 3 school! I got a grade A myself in A-level biology, and a 9 at GCSE with the highest mark in my school. I know first hand how difficult biology can be, and tested a lot of different revision techniques in order to obtain my grade, meaning I can offer hyper personalised and comfortable tuition experiences, as I have recently undergone the same struggle of biology myself. My past students have gotten top grades from a range of long term and short term tutoring programmes. I struggled greatly at A-level, and want to pass on tips and tricks that I have learnt in order to help others through exams. There is no reason students can't reach the top grades, and I am an advocate for improving students' confidence as well as their skills. I have a passion for teaching and helping others and want to share this with others.

As a medical student who achieved an A in A-level Biology, I have recent experience of the A-level curriculum and understand how challenging Biology can be. I can help with understanding difficult topics, exam technique, revision strategies and working through past-paper questions, with a focus on making concepts clear and easy to remember. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your grades or prepare for exams, I’ll adapt each lesson to help you reach your goals.
