About Shawn
My name is Shawn, and I am a third-year Medical Student at Lancaster University with a strong track record in teaching and academic mentoring. Through my work with younger medical students, sixth-form applicants, and GCSE/A-Level learners, I’ve developed a calm, structured and highly effective approach to tutoring. My Approach to Tutoring I focus on building strong foundations, clear understanding, and exam-ready confidence. Clear frameworks for answering long-form questions. Honest, constructive feedback so students improve quickly. I keep sessions engaging, straightforward and focused on real progress rather than overwhelming content. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for students preparing for exams or needing deeper consolidation.
