I like to begin by understanding the areas the student needs work on and their style of learning. Each lesson will be planned based on their individual needs and the exam specifications. This will ensure they are not missing any content the exams require of them. During the lessons I will teach the student the required knowledge through diagrams, presentations and worked example questions before picking relevant exam style questions to practice the content of the lesson. We will then use the mark scheme from the exam board, in order to familiarise the student with what examiners are looking for in an answer.
