About Elwyn
I would describe myself as approachable, motivated and a hard-working individual. I have achieved multiple A's and A*'s and GCSE and A-level which has enabled me to study medicine at Leeds for 4 years. I still have two more years of medicine till I graduate as a junior doctor but I deeply value the importance of good education to someone's life and I believe I can make a significant impact to a student's competency in their studies.
In my free time, I play lots of tennis with friends both for leisure and competitive play for my local club. I have played tennis since I was 6 and have coached multiple students and friends to vastly improve their game. I also play at university level and have played in multiple inter-university tournaments.

My style of teaching is completely flexible to a variety of students from young people with learning difficulties to undergraduates at university. I normally like to have a free initial meeting to understand the best methods to teach a student and to discuss their goals and develop a learning plan to achieve their target grades. Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour as I feel this is the optimum time to do both teaching content and practising exam questions at the end. I have tutored with MyTutor for 2 years and I have tutored hundreds of students in that time so I would say I am very experienced. My lessons are mainly available to GCSE and A-level students and tennis coaching is available to students of all ages and abilities.
