About Lakshme
General tips:
1. Do not just memorize
- A proper understanding of the subject is needed to achieve grades higher than a 90 ATAR.
2. Use Flashcards, Mnemonics and other tools
- Sounds basic, but there is a time and place for each study technique. It is a skill to know how to use these techniques without over-complicating your tasks.
3. Do not let it take over
- As hard as HSC may be, you must learn to balance your studies with socializing, proper exercise, and diet. You never want to lose track of these things, as they contribute to your overall resilience.

Having had several years of experience in this field, my approach is to build a strong foundation of understanding for my students, and ensure that they keep memorization to a minimum. I truly believe that at least up to HSC level, there is more of a need for understanding than for blatant memorizing.
I focus on topics my student is weak in, and place a heavy emphasis on attempting past questions. I also ensure my students are utilizing efficient study techniques. I am more than happy to share tips that work for learning at University level (in Medical school), which will certainly help in earlier academic levels.
Lessons are typically 1.5 hours long, and can be online or in-person, depending on the distance.
