About Lara
I am a medical student at UCL and love learning myself. I find huge satisfaction in going through content with others and seeing the lightbulb moment when a topic makes sense. GCSE science is something many students find difficult however I know many different approaches to learning that will result in high grades. I want to empower students to feel like they are in charge of their learning but supported at the same time.

I believe every student is capable of achieving a high grade with the right support and plan in place; in tutoring I establish goals and a clear pathway for learning, get to know how my students learn best and work through high yield revision methods such as active recall, exam practice and truly understanding the content. I am an easy going fun person who thinks learning should be fun, and as someone who sat GCSE’s I completely understand the nerves around them, but know that it is entirely possible to succeed!
