About Kudzai
I am very enthusiastic about learning and education as a whole, and I believe that each and every person has something of value to give. I am currently in medical school, alongside which I teach English as a foreign language, and tutor some of the sciences. Outside of education, I play rugby and am a personal trainer, both of which have taught me that an approach to a goal is adaptable.
In my leisure time, I enjoy playing the ukulele and trivia.

My primary focus would be to help students in areas that they are struggling. I tailor my lessons to the needs of that student, focusing on recognizing patterns and logic and improving their weaknesses. I encourage students to show me how they think first. Then, using their logic, I help to navigate problems and concepts, effectively reinforcing their understanding.
A typical lesson with me would go as follows:
- General introduction of the topic. This may include a few questions for the student to make sure they're in the right frame of thinking. Eg, What is nutrition, why is it important etc.
- Then more detailed sections. This will be focused on covering the key details of the topic. This will be where we lay the framework for patterns and build them up.
- Supplementary information to give that extra edge
- finish off with consolidation and organizing the topic in an efficient way for navigation. Can be in the form of a table, web diagram, flow chart etc.
This model is mainly designed for those between high school and undergraduate, but can be easily adapted for those who fall outside of this category.
