About Ashley

I am medical student located in South Florida. I have a Bachelors in Biology, a Masters in Biology with a concentration in Health Sciences, and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. I have experience teaching students from many walks of life in different settings. I taught freshman seminar for three years, four biology classes, and am currently a teaching assistant and tutor in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine for fellow medical students.

About the lesson

I understand that learning is not a "one size fits all" process. It is important to understand who a student is and how they learn best. I incorporate a lot of practice problems and real-world examples when I teach, this way students can apply what they already know to concepts they find challenging and remain consistent.
