About Kiley
My bachelor's degrees are in Physiology & Medical Sciences and Biology with a Biomedical Sciences emphasis with minors in Biochemistry, Ecology, Pharmacology, and Medical Ethics. I taught Microbiology and Physiology for my undergraduate university for 2 years and have been teaching a range of health science courses for the past 7 years. I graduated from my undergraduate as valedictorian and was accepted to 18 medical schools, including 5 Top 20. Now, my research specializes in education.

My teaching style is interactive and adaptive to each student, bringing microscopic topics into tangible, real-life examples. Further, about half of my students have a disability, so we work on ways to adapt to their current situation and utilize resources available to them. My sessions are held over Zoom, and we utilize tools just as whiteboard and screen sharing. I often utilize the “teach back” method to ensure full comprehension of a topic before moving forward. Further, I offer pre-med counseling to help students get into med school if that is their goal. Most of my students are university or graduate-level students; however, I have also tutored several high schoolers.

I really like Kiley! She’s taught me genetics, physiology, anatomy, and biochem. She’s also helped me study for the MCAT and prep my med school application. I honestly don’t know if I could have gotten this far in my degree without her help.
