About Iman
I've taught everything from first-year general chemistry to third-year organic labs, and I know exactly where students get stuck — reaction mechanisms, spectral interpretation, stereochemistry, you name it. My approach is to meet you where you are, figure out the gap, and explain things in a way that finally clicks.

Qualifications/experience:
14+ years of hands-on teaching experience. I've helped hundreds of students go from confused to confident across HSC, IB, and first to third-year university chemistry.
I've won two 'Demonstrator of the Semester' awards at the University of Sydney, and I hold an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), a formal qualification in university teaching.
Typical length of a lesson: an hour
Techniques and teaching methodology:
I don't believe in overwhelming students with information. I find the exact spot where things stopped making sense and rebuild from there — clearly, patiently, and with real examples
My sessions are calm, focused, and always adapted to where the student is at. I believe every student can succeed in chemistry with the right explanation at the right time — and I've seen that proven over and over throughout my career.
