About Chloe

I lived in France from march 2023-august 2025 to work and study.
I've tutored 10 students so far (various ages and levels, and both in person and online), and absolutely love helping people learn. I started learning French in 2011 and am now fluent. I completed VCE French in 2016 and was the year 12 dux for the subject with an ATAR score of 47. In 2014 I also went to France to study the language with a native in an immersion program, and in 2017 I completed one semester of C2 French (the highest level offered) at Monash University.

About the lesson

I'm passionate about learning French and teaching it in a fun and practical way. I prepare the lesson plan according to the student's ability/level and interests to make sure they get the most out of it whilst remaining engaged (especially for younger students). My lessons include but aren't limited to conversation and correct pronunciation practice, exercises for grammatical rules and exceptions, conjugating verbs and learning vocabulary (reading aloud using picture books, easy literature, short videos). I make sure to teach what is necessary for school but also useful things to know such as current slang and expressions.
