About Ava
I'm a 19-year-old student completing a BA course at the University of Melbourne. I love working with kids and have experience tutoring a range of English skills both privately and in groups. I have worked at a tutoring center where I have taught a big class of children between 1 - 6 years old and also tutored 1 on 1 to several 8-year-olds. I have taught phonetics, English reading and writing and language comprehension.

I like to make my classes fun for the kids, to help them engage and enjoy their time. I often prepare games for the younger kids, such as word searches or a treasure hunt that helps test their vocabulary whilst also being entertaining!
