About Kevin
I am Kevin, an international student from HK who is currently studying a commerce degree in Melbourne Uni. I have been practicing ice skating for 10 years personally and I have achieved freestyle 9 in the ISI system (Highest is freestyle 10). I have also participated in a lot of ISI competitions and won numerous awards. I have learnt from coaches from various different backgrounds such as HK, Indonesia, Russia, America, Canada. I am going to be personally demonstrating the skills I will be teaching as well as to explain the techniques in the simplest way possible (I would know as I have been a student for 10 years).
I am a native speak in English, Chinese and Mandarin, so I can easily communicate with you guys with ease!
Ice skating is not a really popular sport anywhere, especially in regions like Australia. Not only I want to spread my passion for this sport, but I also want to let other people enjoy it and see the beauty of this sport (Although it is considered one of the hardest sport to learn as it takes a lot of body coordination).

I believe the most effective way of teaching Ice skating is through private lessons where the coach guides you through the entire lesson and to teach you different techniques. I will be personally demonstrating the skills that I am teaching, unlike a lot of coaches who only focus to the theories part of the techniques. I will also be focusing a lot on the fundamental skills, if you are new to skating, then lucky you!
