About Mila
Clarity is found through strict discipline rather than through endless noodling during practice. You will establish a firm command over your instrument by methodically tackling barre chords and advanced ear training exercises. Structure defines our time together.

Teens and performance students often arrive at my studio carrying heavy cases that smell faintly of aged cedar and polished mahogany. Having completed a music degree from Melbourne Uni, I possess the technical foundation required to guide serious players through intricate challenges. My work spans 13 years of dedicated practice across diverse genres including flamenco and Argentine folk. I have guided numerous individuals through the complexities of reading sheet music and mastering difficult chord transitions.
These 13 years have allowed me to refine my teaching methods for self-taught players who crave structured progress. My background as a native Spanish speaker provides a unique perspective on the rhythmic soul of the guitar. It is a true privilege to witness a student finally grasp the nuances of power chords or proper tuning and maintenance. I genuinely enjoy the quiet satisfaction found in helping someone find their specific sound.
