About Gavin
I am a full time student at The University of Melbourne, studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physiology. Wanting to pursue a career in Medicine. This year will be my first year tutoring. I am wanting to be a tutor as I am great at explaining and articulating concepts to friends and peers.

I have completed both Further Maths and Math Methods, being in the top 30% of the state in both subjects. I have a passion for maths, have always loved completing equations. I completed my Year 12 in 2017, at a private school in the small town of Swan Hill. I completed VET Sport and Recreation as a VCE subject, scoring within the top 7% of the state. As this subject is all about teaching sports to primary school aged kids, I am fairly confident in knowing how to articulate messages across to children of any age. My teaching method is to simply explain content, giving examples. Then letting the students complete practice questions, aiding them through the different questions. I thoroughly believe that the best way to learn is to be hands on and do it yourself.
