About Laverna
Do you find yourself overwhelmed by messy datasets and complex code? Having earned a BSc Finance at Columbia Business School, I focus on building technical intuition rather than just rote memorization.
My work spans exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, machine learning basics, model evaluation, dashboards in Power BI, scikit-learn, and SQL for analytics. I support students from university settings to career pivots by grounding abstract logic in accessible terms. You might notice that I tend to explain things through a financial lens since that is where I started. Expect our sessions to be straightforward and focused on your progress.
