I am a certified level 2, 8th grade/Algebra 1 teacher currently. I have worked with grades 6-8 for 5 years and have been promoted to math department leader in my current year. In my time, I have shown the ability to help students understand math and find joy in becoming proficient in their advancing concepts. My testing scores have consistently been above national, and my growth numbers are 3X the national average. I have prepared curriculum and have an understanding of what students need to know in their current grade level and what they'll need going forward. I am ready to meet your student where they are and help them arrive at the next level of math proficiency.
