At Keys of Swan Perth, music isn’t treated like a box to tick or just another after-school activity. It’s something more enduring.
I’m a piano teacher of 9 years based in Claremont, offering lessons to children and women from my home studio or travelling free of charge to students within 15 minutes of the area. My teaching style is built around connection and curiosity. I don’t just want students to learn notes on a page, I want them to feel music, understand it, and carry it with them long after the lesson ends.
Whether a student is brand new to the piano or returning to it after time away, I aim to create a space where they feel supported, inspired, and genuinely excited to play. Technique matters, but so does joy, expression, and the confidence that grows when a piece finally clicks under their fingers.
My goal is simple: to nurture a lifelong relationship with music, where piano becomes not just something they do, but something they return to for comfort, creativity, and self-expression.
