About Charlotte
Bonjour! I'm Charlotte, thank you for clicking on my profile. I first started speaking French at school, and have lived and worked in France at various points in my adult life. My passion for languages and the culture of the countries that speak them developed in this time.
I have wanted to be a teacher since the age of 5 and I have completed most of a teaching qualification (PGCE) to enable me to teach French. I therefore have plenty of practical experience teaching modern foreign languages in various schools, as well as the theoretical knowledge to back it up

I am happy to work with people of any level in French, but I have the most experience in secondary school teaching (11-18). I am patient, hard working and enthusiastic about helping people to learn languages. I aim to fit what I teach to the individual student, and what they want to learn. We will focus on grammar, culture, skills, pronunciation, whatever is going to be most useful. My experience working in a variety of school settings has given me the knowledge of the most effective teaching methods, an ability to build good working relationships quickly with new people, and a passion for both teaching and languages. Lessons will usually be 60 minutes.
