About Katie
After becoming obsessed with the Spanish language and culture at age 15, I went on to get an A* at GCSE and A Level. After this, at age 18 I took a gap year before University to work as an au pair in Spain.
I attended the University of Liverpool where I studied Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish, French and Portuguese) and graduated in June 2023. After graduating I spent my summer travelling around Mexico and volunteering in a hostel, where I was able to speak Spanish in a completely new environment. Now, I am currently living and working in Spain as an English language assistant!
As you can tell I am very passionate about Spanish and language learning, and I would love to share this passion with you! I am not a native speaker, but I have been studying Spanish for 8 years and I know exactly how it feels to be the student! I can also explain Spanish grammar better than English grammar!

Hi!
I tutor ages 5-18, from absolute beginners to GCSE students to high-achieving A Level students. I offer online classes which last approximately 1 hour.
Each class is unique to you and your needs. Whether that be practising day-to-day useful vocabulary for beginners, homework practice, studying specific topics, tense/grammar revision, exam practice or preparation, I am here to help you with anything you need!
I really believe that language learning shouldn't be stressful, it should be fun! Language learning has changed my life, especially as someone who loves to travel, and I have had some of the best experiences of my life and met the best people because of this! If there are any young people who are interested in languages, studying languages at University and how it is, Uni year abroad, or that have any other questions like that I would also be happy to answer those!
