About Mohsin
I am a Mechanical Engineer who has been teaching for 5 years. It started when i was in grade 12, working as a teachers assistant in Aspire Hub back in Singapore. When i was in Singapore i eventually had 3/4 (2hours) classes a week teaching an array of students from grades 4 to 12.
I had to end that when I came to Australia to pursue engineering. However, I carried on teaching at TutorBright.

My classes were tailored to the students. Each individual has a different problem that requires a different approach. Investing time in tackling core problems of a student would inevitably help down the road when it comes to learning more advanced theorems.
Example 1; Student had problem visualising/calculating an area of a room;Hence I used a cardboard box and drawings to help the student.
Example 2; Student did not understand 2/3 dimensional matrices;Hence I used point-point theory to help tackle the problem.
Its worth planning ahead of a lesson, passionate teaching produces passionate students!
I have also come to understand the importance of working with the parents. It makes a big difference when their parents respond positively to you, the student tends to just follow along.
For group lessons, I would generally teach the entire class a topic, and start with the basics. Slowly, I would built up the difficulty. However, this is only done once we solve their students problems. As such, as a class, learning the basics > problem solving questions> solving students problems > advance questions . And the cycle continues.
