My main philosophy in teaching is to strengthen one's fundamentals and make students have a clear understanding of the basic concepts, be it maths or physics or even chemistry. I am aware that every student has a different learning curve and capacity. My mantra is to try to put myself in the position of that student and try to see things from their perspective and then go about constructing solutions that would enable them to understand in a quality manner
I am an Environmental Engineer at the undergraduate level and pursuing a Masters in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University. I have previously tutored at Chegg and helped out students with Chemistry. However, I am equally good at teaching Maths to high school students. I scored 97/100 in my Year 12 maths exam and studied advanced mathematics in the first two years of my engineering.

He is very good at maths and science subjects specially physics and chemistry. During our undergraduate studies he had helped in various subjects like applied physics fluid mechanics and applied mathematics.
Gautam helped me out with understanding basic concepts of Calculus in our first year in college. He is quite patient when it comes to explaining and I managed to do fairly well with his help.
I've known Gautam for about two decades now from my school days. Ever since, I've noticed that he's had an inclination towards analytical and quantitative subjects. In fact, I requested him to teach me higher level mathematics for our 12th standard higher school board examinations. His explanation and teaching methodology made it really easy for me to grasp difficult concepts and fortunately I was able to get a good score in Mathematics.
He has also demonstrated his teaching ability via Chegg, which is a platform for tutoring high school and college students, via which he gave Chemistry lessons. He teaches in a manner which breaks down the concepts into easy to understand sub - concepts. Hence, I'd recommend him to Superprof members if they want to gain a better understanding with respect to their concepts in Maths and Science.
Gautam is very dedicated towards his research work and have shown excellent demeanor with various stakeholders. I think he'll be a very good fit in passing on knowledge and information to students, owing to his exposure to various technical topics and ability to deliver them to large audience.
