About Samuel
I am a graduate at St Kevin's College, Toorak in 2020. I achieved an ATAR of 99.35 focusing my efforts on Maths and Science related subjects. I achieved a 49 in Maths Methods and a 51 in Specialist Maths as well as a 48 in Physics. As a consistently high achieving mathematics student who has helped many peers throughout the years in developing strong understandings of topics, I have developed a deeper knowledge of the most efficient ways of tackling questions of a VCAA standard, as well as being able to strengthen and add confidence to the approaches to seemingly difficult questions for weaker students.

My ideal location is in Bayside Area and would typically be at Brighton Library, near Middle Brighton Station is suitable. My focus in teaching Math Methods, Specialist Maths and Physics at year 11 and year 12 level is to primarily consolidate knowledge of the various topics presented so that a deeper understanding can then be formed. I have found through my experience of teaching peers that a degree of confidence in the basics of a topic is all that is required to then work on building very competitive abilities that can see unexpected high achievers arise. I typically focus on the weaknesses of students in their approaches to the challenges of these subjects, then proceed to refine their skills and mindset so that their skills can be efficiently used with a strong level of confidence.
