About Sonnie
I have been teaching Korean since 2009. I taught Korean for 6 years at Ewha Womans University and for over 2 years in Berlin, Germany. I speak English and German, so I can help you study Korean. A Swiss student who studied with me steadily once a week, went from A1 to B1. I've been teaching Korean since 2009. I got Master degree in Teaching korean as foreign language. I worked at Ewha Womens University in Seoul more than 6 yrs. And recent 2 years I worked at Korean cultural center of Korean Embassy in berlin, Germany, which is called Sejong institute. One of my stundents, who has been studying with me an hour per week since 2018, she can speak and make korean sentences really precisely(B1). Except for Japanese speaker, korean sentence building must be really hard. Therefore understanding korean sentence structure at the beginning is super important.
저는 2009년부터 한국어를 가르치고 있어요. 이화여자대학교에서 6년 동안 한국어를 가르쳤고 독일 베를린에서 2년 넘게 한국어를 가르쳤어요. 저는 영어와 독일어를 할 수 있어서 여러분의 한국어 공부를 도와줄 수 있습니다. 저와 함께 일주일에 1번씩 1년을 꾸준히 공부한 스위스 학생은 A1에서 B1 수준이 되었습니다.

I teach in PPT. I am good at explaining grammar, but I also think natural speaking is very important. If you are new to Korean, studying with me will be very helpful. I have a lot of experience in 10 years so I can explain well. If you start to learn Korean from the scratch, classes with me would be helpful to you. I have lots of experience teaching Korean with students all over the world. My strength is explaining Korean grammar. After learning Grammar with me, we are going to practice what you learn today!

Her class is really good for learning grammar, expressions, speaking skills and practical skills (e.g. Korean humor which only Korean knows), so it’s perfect for every level.
