I have been giving private lessons to an 11-year-old and 15-year-old for 2 years now, and they have excelled in English as a result. I have received an A* at A Level English, and two 8s at GCSE English, thus have a sound understanding of how to excel under the new system.

Being a student myself, I have an excellent understanding of the most effective teaching methods to enable a student to absorb information. I am empathetic and will work through problems with students patiently. However, I will be firm when necessary to ensure that students gain the most from my lessons.
