About Miri
With more than 7 years of experience, I am a dedicated Flute tutor teaching School, College, and working professional students in a supportive and organised learning environment. My tutoring style focuses on strong fundamentals such as breath control, posture alignment, finger accuracy, tone quality, rhythm control, and musical expression, while allowing students to learn at a comfortable pace.
In addition to flute training, I teach music theory, notation reading, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, and ear training to build complete musical understanding. I also help students prepare for exams and performances with confidence. My unique strength lies in motivating students through clear guidance, structured practice plans, and continuous encouragement, helping them grow as confident and disciplined musicians.

My flute teaching approach is based on communication, creativity, and flexible lesson planning to help students enjoy learning and make steady progress. I explain flute techniques clearly and encourage open interaction during lessons. Creative warm-ups, musical exercises, and expressive playing activities make learning interesting and motivating.
Lesson plans are adapted according to student progress, learning needs, and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals while supporting musical expression and confidence. Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading.
Along with flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills to help students become well-rounded musicians.
