About Oliver
Hi, I'm Oliver, a Motorsport Engineering student at the University of Derby with over 10 months' experience tutoring GCSE Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals while making challenging topics easier to understand. Alongside tutoring, I'm passionate about engineering and Formula 1, and I'm always happy to help students who are considering a future in engineering by sharing advice on subject choices, university pathways and career options. I believe students learn best when they understand why they're learning something, not just how to answer exam questions. I tailor every lesson to the student's needs, helping them build confidence in Maths and Science while developing strong problem-solving skills. Alongside GCSE tuition, I'm happy to advise students interested in engineering on GCSE and A-Level subject choices, university pathways and the different engineering career paths available.
