About AFIA

Hi, I am Afia, a passionate educator and a current MPhil Physics student. I hold a BS in Physics with a remarkable 3.83 CGPA, having secured the 2nd position in my graduating class. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently excelled, ranking in the top 2% of my university cohort and previously securing the 2nd position in my high school board exams. Because of my brilliant academic record, I have been awarded merit-based scholarships continuously from the 8th grade all the way through my BS degree. My teachers have also recognized me for having a high aptitude for mathematics and science, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
My teaching and practical experiences are diverse and hands-on. I have formally taught physics and basic mathematics to students under the Chief Minister Internship Program, and I have a strong background in private tutoring. I have taught multiple students, including those from Lahore Grammar School (LGS). Currently, I am actively tutoring two students, building upon my previous experience of guiding others to success. Furthermore, my work with the Khwarizmi Science Society involved translating complex physics terminology into accessible language for young learners and guiding children through practical microscopic observations at a major science festival.
I want to teach because I firmly believe that math and science should be understood through real-world, practical examples rather than rote memorization. My goal is to simplify the most difficult concepts, foster strong analytical abilities, and help my students achieve their academic goals with confidence conconfidence..maengaging and rewarding journey together

About the lesson

My personal approach to private tutoring is centered on understanding each student's unique psychology and adapting to their specific learning level. Especially when tackling challenging subjects like physics, general science, and mathematics, I believe in breaking down complex concepts into relatable, everyday examples. I strive to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students never hesitate to ask questions. Furthermore, I strongly emphasize consistent written practice. Writing out problems step-by-step is the most effective way to make concepts crystal clear, naturally improve handwriting, and achieve excellent exam results. My ultimate goal is to build a strong foundational understanding and a genuine interest in the subject rather than relying on rote memorization.
