About Pedram
I am a civil engineer from Sweden with a genuine heart for teaching — not because I have to, but because I really think it's fun to see when something "clicks" for someone. Outside of teaching, I have a lot of interests, my friends joke and say I have ADHD, but: I have run 6 marathons, dance, have trained MMA and soccer, and am quite a nerd when it comes to computer games. I bring the same patience and persistence from the running track into the classroom — don't give up until we finish. I believe that a good teacher is someone you actually enjoy talking to. That's why I always put as much importance on having a good atmosphere as on the subject knowledge itself.

I am a civil engineer with a master's degree and a genuine interest in making difficult subjects understandable and helping others turn something that is sometimes difficult into something that is not difficult, and maybe even a little fun. I am convinced that anyone can learn math, physics and other "difficult" subjects — it's about finding a teacher who adapts to how you learn, not the other way around. Too many students think they are simply bad at math, when the reality is that no one has explained it in a way that suits them. That is exactly what I try to do. I have informally helped friends and neighbors with their studies for many years — and what I hear time and time again is that I explain clearly and have a lot of patience, which means that we actually get great results. Now I want to do it for more people! I offer tuition in mathematics, physics and statistics at the high school level, but also more advanced subjects such as programming, finance and statistics at the university and master's level. My way of working is simple: I start by understanding exactly what it is that you are stuck on, and then we work through it step by step until it feels understandable and good. No stress, no stupid questions — just clear explanations built around how you think or where you are stuck. Lessons take place online via video call or on site in Stockholm. If you want to test it out, you are more than welcome to write. We then start with a relaxed conversation to see if it is a good "match" — completely without obligation.
