My Approach as a Tutor I believe every student can succeed in math — they just need the right support and a little patience. My sessions are conversational and relaxed; I want students to feel comfortable asking "silly" questions, because that's often where the real learning happens. Teaching Techniques & Methods I start by identifying gaps in understanding rather than jumping straight into new material. I use a mix of worked examples, guided practice, and Socratic questioning — asking students to reason through problems Aloud — so they build genuine understanding rather than just memorizing steps. I adapt my pace and style to each student. Typical Session Sessions usually begin with a quick check-in on what's been Tricky lately, followed by targeted problem-solving. I always leave time at the end to consolidate what we covered and preview what's coming next. My Special Characteristics I've tutored across three countries and multiple cultures, which has sharpened my ability to explain the same concept in several different ways until it clicks. I also hold a CRLA certification in peer tutoring and have formal TA experience, so I bring both academic rigor and genuine warmth to every session. Who Is This For? My Tutoring is suited for middle school and high school students looking to build confidence or improve grades, as well as university students tackling courses like calculus, linear algebra, or discrete mathematics.
