About Benjamin
I am a MRes Science student currently looking at how different water temperatures can be used as an alternative intervention for various cardiac arrhythmia in place of the valsalva manoeuvre. I am applying for a PhD in the new year in a similar field.
I graduated with 1st Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Human Physiology.
My A-levels were in: Physiology, Sociology, Psychology.
My studies are heavily based upon the health industry, giving me a vast knowledge in human biology. physiology, all kinds of anatomy, as well as a broad knowledge about various diseases, drugs and environmental health. Ranging from general knowledge all the way to cellar and microbiological functions and mechanisms.
I speak English (native) as my only language.

Offering a relaxed and steady learning environment, I am able to start off with the basics and aid in consolidating new information and more advanced information towards the end of the session. My teaching method involves establishing where the student is at currently, finding where they are struggling or may need additional support on and focusing on not only getting them to understand the immediate issue, but to grasp an understanding and solid foundation of information around the subject area. This allows the student to give context when referencing / using the information to understand further problems. This may include working from 'the ground up' establishing the pure basics and delving deeper and deeper until the concept is clear and then working with this concept to understand various aspects of the subject matter. It may also include the use of acronyms and visual aid to form neural connections to already learnt information, to make it more accessible.
