About Annika

Hi, I’m Anni! I’m a 29-year-old musician from Germany who spent the last 8.5 years living and working in Australia. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I first taught myself piano and guitar at the age of 7, and from there, my passion for playing and performing only grew stronger. In 2015, while working as an Au Pair in Western Australia, I was introduced to a small music school that completely captured my heart. Not long after, I joined their team as a teacher and spent three wonderful years sharing music with students of all ages while also studying Early Childhood Education. Alongside this, I began offering private lessons in piano, guitar, and vocals — a side project that quickly blossomed into a full-time career. For the past six years, I’ve had the joy of working as a private music teacher and performer, and I can honestly say I’ve never loved a job more. I also studied Contemporary Vocals at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, which gave me the chance to dive even deeper into my craft as both a musician and educator. Today, I’m living my dream — teaching, performing, and sharing the magic of music. I would love to be part of your musical journey and help you discover (or rediscover!) the joy of playing, singing, and creating.

About the lesson

Lessons with me can either be 30 minutes or 45 minutes long - this will depend on your skill level and what you would like to do. I believe that following your dreams is most important! In our lessons, we will choose songs that you would like to be able to play with achievable goals to get there. Lessons will be a mix of music theory, technical exercises, and repertoire that we select based on your wishes. In our first session, I want to get to know you and your goals so we can work out the perfect plan for you.

I offer 30-minute or 45-minute lessons which are the following prices: 30-minute lesson/ $35 each 45-minute lesson/ $50 each The first lesson is always free and then you can book either a 5 or a 10-pack with me! :)
