About Federica
I hold degrees in History, Archaeology, and End-of-life Care. I am originally from South America, but learned English so early that I am a native speaker of both Spanish and English. After many years of working in healthcare, I transitioned into running a financial consulting firm for small businesses. My background in the humanities, sciences, and business world make me an ideal tutor for those seeking to learn academic and professional English tailored to their professional goals.

Hello! I love to teach History and English in ways that are engaging and tailored to be relevant to your personal goals. I believe that for languages direct immersion is often the best way to learn and that learning to have real world conversations imperfectly is better than spending years accumulating vocabulary without learning how to use it!
I prefer to work with adults, late teens and older. I have taught ESL for eight years informally and while I have worked with a variety of nationalities my fluency in Italian and Spanish make me an ideal teacher for those who are native speakers of those two languages.
