About Etienne

My name is Etienne, and I'm a 14-year-old chess tutor. I speak several languages (English, Finnish, French some Mandarin) so look forward to multilingual chess! I teach beginner (100-500) to intermediate (up to 1000) level so no matter if you're just starting I will be there to support you!

About the lesson

In my lessons we will learn about different strategic positions and openings in chess. In the first lesson, we will dive further into your weaknesses and strengths in order to develop a personal programme to help you improve in no time! I focus on developing any ages and focus on puzzles and keeping the students engaged throughout my lessons. I hope to hear from you all soon!

Perfect! Etienne is a brilliant tutor he understands the game of chess in and out, to an extremely high level but is able to break it down simply for more novice players like myself. He is tremendously patient and makes the lessons fun. I have already improved my overall game and understanding in such a short period of time. Highly recommend Etienne if you are looking for a chess tutor whether it be to take you to the next level or if your just getting into chess !

I really enjoy working with Craig. He is patient and listens perfectly. I would suggest possibly playing shorter time modes to activate him into thinking faster. Overall, I think Craig has great potential and will become great at chess in a short period of time.
